SUPERVISOR
You will serve as a SUPERVISOR in the of LOGISTIC AND LIFECYCLE ENGINEERING (40000)NIWC ATLANTIC.
- You will lead and manage the Integrated Product Support (IPS) and Reliability Engineering workforce, providing strategic direction, workforce development, performance management, and talent acquisition initiatives.
- You will oversee logistics support functions throughout the system life cycle, including product support management, maintenance planning, technical data, training, supply support, transportation, and facilities management.
- You will supervise personnel within a Competency Aligned Organization, providing guidance, coaching, performance management, and administrative oversight while fostering employee engagement and retention.
- You will identify and implement process improvements that eliminate barriers, increase efficiency, enhance service delivery, and support continuous business improvement initiatives.
- You will manage customer relationships by assessing requirements, planning resources, allocating personnel, and ensuring successful delivery of logistics and product support outcomes.
- You will support enterprise strategic planning and digital transformation efforts by applying digital engineering principles, ensuring compliance with data governance policies, and advancing modernization initiatives.
Requirements
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: The minimal qualifications for supervisors are leading the Integrated Product Support (IPS) and Reliability Engineering workforce, providing an in-depth understanding of the twelve IPS elements and digital engineering principles. The qualification focuses on enhancing leadership and communication skills required to manage change and build coalitions within a Competency Aligned Organization. This will enable supervisors to effectively oversee complex life cycle logistics requirements in support of departmental objectives.
