SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (LABOR RELATIONS/EMPLOYEE RELATIONS)
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (LABOR RELATIONS/EMPL RELATIONS) in the COMPACFLT HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICE.
- You will serve as first line supervisor over a team of Labor/Employee Relations Specialists.
- You will provide leadership and guidance to Human Resources Specialists who advise and assist managers in the areas of employee misconduct, discipline, grievances, adverse actions employee counseling, performance management, etc.
- You serve as a SME for Labor Relations and Employee Relations programs providing oversight and technical expertise on human resources case law, principles, practices, and regulations to a team of specialists and serviced customers.
- You will coordinate and manage a segment of the LR/ER program which involves interpreting policies, guidance, and legislation for its impact on program goals and objectives.
Requirements
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: researching, analyzing, and implementing employee or labor relations processes and procedures; advising managers on a wide variety of management-employee relations matters, such as performance and conduct issues, grievances, appeals, or the labor-management partnership; preparing agreements or appeals correspondence; and resolving disputes arising out of the disciplinary process serving as a chief negotiator.
