Insulators Local 28 Colorado accepting apprentice applications
Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers Union Local 28's JATC has a 4 year apprenticeship program. That program starts off by teaching the basic function and installation of insulation materials, and progresses to teaching firestop application, all insulation applications, as well as Jacketing lay outs and their application in Commercial and Industrial settings. Our expectations are for apprentices to go to class, interact and collaborate while in class, learn and take notes on the key functions of our curriculum, that way when they turn out as journeyman/journeywoman, they have the knowledge for all possible applications that arise out at the job sites working for one of our signatory contractors or traveling to our surrounding Insulator Union Locals.
Contact Apprenticeship Coordinator Thomas Axtell to setup an appointment to apply for the Heat and Frost Insulators Local 28 Apprenticeship.
