SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Experimentation and Assessment Division (JXR), Business Operations Branch (JXRB) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-13 and GS-14.


  • You will manage cross-functional processes including quality management, documentation control, continuous improvement initiative management, Division level financial administration, facility management, and division level procurement activities.
  • You will be directly responsible for the safety, environmental compliance, workload execution, and employee oversight.
  • You will interface with multiple customers and policy makers on technical and management issues.
  • You will manage overall effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity for the development/implementation of the Branch's policies/procedures.
  • You will develop and maintain long/short term planning for funding, human resources, facilities and equipment.

Requirements

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading the planning and execution of projects, programs, or initiatives by managing project resources and quality deliverables to ensure mission objectives are met.
