Success in this position requires exceptional attention to detail, the ability to interpret engineering documentation, and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Previous aerospace experience is helpful but not required. Candidates with strong manufacturing experience, mechanical aptitude, and excellent attention to detail are encouraged to apply.Key Responsibilities:- Prepare aerospace components for plasma coating by applying masking materials according to engineering specifications and process instructions.- Read and interpret operation sheets, blueprints, work instructions, and technical documentation.- Select and utilize the proper fixtures, masking materials, tooling, and equipment required for each component.- Inspect parts before and after masking to ensure proper coverage and compliance with manufacturing specifications.- Maintain inventory levels of masking materials, tapes, fixtures, and consumables to support production schedules.- Coordinate with Plasma Spray Operators and Manufacturing Engineering to ensure parts are properly prepared for coating operations.- Complete production documentation accurately and maintain required manufacturing records.- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all quality and safety procedures.- Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with other production activities as needed.Experience & Skill Requirements:- One (1) year of manufacturing experience.- Aerospace manufacturing experience.- Previous masking experience.- Experience preparing components for painting, coating, plating, thermal spray, or other finishing processes.- Experience working with precision aerospace or medical components.- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, operation sheets, and technical documentation.- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.- High School Diploma or GED.Physical Requirements:- Ability to stand for extended periods & Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.- Ability to perform repetitive hand movements requiring precision and attention to detail.- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).Work Authorization & Pre-Employment Requirements:- Applicants must qualify as a U.S. Person, which includes U.S. Citizens & U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents (Green Card holders).
