MINE COUNTERMEASURES CONCEPTS & CAPABILITIES PROGRAM ANALYST
You will serve as a MINE COUNTERMEASURES CONCEPTS & CAPABILITIES PROGRAM ANALYST in the Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC) Mine Countermeasures (MCM) Technical Division of NAVSURFMINEWARDEVCEN DET POINT LOMA.
- You will be responsible for initial Mine Countermeasures (MCM) doctrine and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) development and initiating revisions; capability assessments, experimentation and defining future requirements.
- You will be responsible for exploring concepts of operation, force generation, force posture, sustainment and integrating future force platforms and capabilities.
- You will support three specific lines of effort: 1) Concept Development, 2) Capability Introduction, and 3) Fleet Kill Chain Assessment.
- You will assist in development of future warfighting concepts to help shape weapons system development process.
- You will independently exercise a wide range of authorities and responsibilities including development of work plans, setting priorities, identifying development test efforts and coordinating support for critical development efforts.
- You will be responsible for providing well researched technical recommendations allowing activity to develop and execute a comprehensive MCM Force plan from requirement development through acquisition, testing, training and warfighting.
- You will serve as a program analyst in the development of future MCM Combat Systems.
- You will ensure Navy warfighters have the capability and capacity to counter enemy maritime mine threats.
Requirements
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector overseeing the management of projects associated with a mine countermeasures (MCM) program to resolve problems and provide timely support of MCM operations.
