ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (OA)

You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (OA) in the CNATT UNIT KEESLER AFB.


  • You will utilize a variety of office automation equipment and programs to manage information and data.
  • You will provide support and assistance by maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of governing rules, regulations, and other guidelines.
  • You will ensure that all necessary actions are performed for military awards, and ensure awards are completed on time and in accordance with local and higher echelon directives.
  • You will receive and deliver mail packages.

Requirements

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Adhering to regulations, policies, and procedures to support personnel and leadership with documents, records, and reports; 2) Utilizing Microsoft Office software to generate documents, manage databases and spreadsheets, etc.; and 3) Communicating effectively, orally and in writing, to share information, correspondence, and reports summarizing data to all levels of the chain of command. This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
